I've been promising my boyfriend that I'd make him a website for almost as long as we've been together. But you know how life (freelance work, rock climbing, Bob's Burgers marathons... etc.) gets in the way. A couple weeks ago I finally got around to designing a portfolio that would reflect his personality and interests.
I had a lot of fun working on the header illustration, which incorporates mountains from El Paso, Andrew's hometown.
Of course, being the code slinging ninja (lol) that he is, he coded the entire site over the course of 45 minutes, and added some sweet parallax effects to the header illustration later in the week. Granted, it's a simple site, but it sort of boggled my mind that he cranked it out so fast. I really should brush up on my HTML and CSS....
This isn't the first website we've created together, but it's the first one that I've designed with him after more professional experience designing websites. Andrew and I make a stellar team, so if you ever have a cool web project, give us a shout!
You can check out Andrew's website here, just don't send him spammy recruiting emails. He hates those!
